Join us in our mission to make a lasting difference in the lives of these children and young adults. iLevelUP, an innovative initiative under Believe in Me, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Volunteer Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to oversee the development and lifecycle of the iLevelUP app. In this role, you will ensure that the app meets user needs, stays on schedule, and delivers a high-quality user experience. You will collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues, perform thorough testing, and uphold the technical integrity of the app.

Quality Assurance Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with the development and product management teams to understand the application’s functionality.
  • Testing Execution:
  • Execute manual and automated tests to verify the functionality, performance, and security of the app.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
  • Test Automation:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Continuously improve and expand the test automation framework.
  • Regression Testing:
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Performance Testing:
  • Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with developers to enhance application performance.
  • Usability and Accessibility Testing:
  • Assess the app’s usability and accessibility to ensure it meets the needs of a diverse user base.

Quality Assurance Engineer Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
