Volunteer Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Scholarship Partnership Liaison to join our team. This volunteer will play a crucial role in researching and developing partnerships with scholarship funding sources to support the expansion of our app, iLevelUP. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education equity, strong research skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Scholarship Partnership Liaison Key Responsibilities

  • Research potential scholarship funding sources, including private foundations, corporations, government agencies, and educational institutions, that align with our mission.
  • Initiate contact with potential scholarship partners through cold calls, emails, and networking events.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with scholarship managers and other stakeholders to explore and establish partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the strategic partnerships and development teams to prepare proposals and presentations for potential partners.
  • Keep detailed records of research findings, communications, and partnership outcomes using CRM tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to identify new scholarship-sourcing strategies and improve existing processes.
  • Provide regular updates on partnership development efforts to the Director of Strategic Partnerships and the team.

Scholarship Partnership Liaison Qualifications

  • Strong commitment to the mission of empowering first-generation college students.
  • Excellent research, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Google Workspace, HubSpot, and Salesforce.
  • Background in education, nonprofit management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Education and Experience Requirements

  • Experience in partnership development, fundraising, or scholarship management is highly desirable.
