Role Summary: iLevelUP, an innovative initiative under Believe in Me, is seeking a Volunteer Finance Committee Member to collaborate on budgeting, financial planning, and setting long-term financial strategies that guide the organization’s growth. As part of the Finance Committee, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial management, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and advising on the organization’s financial investments.

Finance Committee Member Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Financial Planning: Participate in the development and approval of the organization’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with long-term strategic goals.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor and review the organization’s financial performance, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and financial policies.
• Investment Strategy: Advise on the investment of funds to ensure proper stewardship and growth of financial assets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance and Development teams, as well as external financial planners, to manage the organization’s financial portfolio.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure that financial reports are accurate, transparent, and comply with all relevant regulations.

Finance Committee Member Qualifications

• Proven experience in finance, accounting, or financial planning, with a strong understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
