Role Summary As a Volunteer Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of the "iLevelUP" app. Your expertise will help protect sensitive user data and maintain the trust of our community. By identifying vulnerabilities, suggesting enhancements, and responding to potential threats, you will directly contribute to creating a safe and secure digital environment for first-generation college students.
Security Analyst Key Responsibilities
- Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities within the app’s infrastructure.
- Threat Analysis: Analyze potential security threats and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Incident Response: Lead the response to security breaches or incidents, including investigation, documentation, and implementation of corrective measures.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure the app complies with relevant security standards and regulations. Advise on best practices for data protection and privacy.
