Outreach Coordinator role overview
As an iLevelUP Outreach Coordinator, you will contribute practical expertise to a nonprofit education product in limited beta. Build useful relationships with organizations that share iLevelUP’s educational purpose. Coordinate outreach, document conversations, and help partners understand how to get involved.
You will work with the relevant team to agree on priorities, review progress, and document decisions. Because the product is still developing, clear handoffs and useful feedback matter.
What you will own
Your contribution centers on the responsibilities below. First, understand the current work and the needs of your collaborators. Next, agree on a manageable scope with the team lead. Then, share progress and raise blockers early. Finally, document the decisions that your teammates need for the next step.
Outreach Coordinator responsibilities
- Identify and establish partnerships with educational institutions, nonprofits, and other organizations that can contribute to or benefit from the app.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing collaboration and support.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to increase awareness of the app among potential partners and supporters.
- Serve as the primary liaison between "Believe in Me" and partner organizations, facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Identify and propose opportunities for joint initiatives, events, or programs that can enhance the app's reach and impact.
- Gather feedback from partners to improve partnership strategies and report on partnership activities and outcomes to the project team.
- Work with the volunteer management team to identify opportunities for volunteers to engage in outreach and partnership activities.
Early deliverables
- First, review the current community outreach and partnerships work and identify useful next steps with your team lead.
- Next, agree on an initial deliverable, its review criteria, and the people who need to contribute.
- Finally, complete a reviewable piece of work and document what the next contributor needs to know.
Outreach Coordinator required qualifications
- Passionate about the mission of Believe in Me and supporting young learners.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Experience in partnership development, outreach, or a related field, preferably within the nonprofit or education sector.
- Proven ability to develop and execute outreach strategies.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic, volunteer-driven organization.
- The volunteer should be able to commit 2-3 hours per week to this role.
Outreach Coordinator helpful experience
- Flexible scheduling, but availability for occasional meetings or calls during business hours is preferred for partner interactions.

For example, explain what you completed, what needs review, and what is blocking the next step. In addition, protect learner and project information when preparing examples or discussing your work.
