Role Summary: We are seeking creative and passionate Volunteer Digital Content Creators to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in producing engaging and educational content for the iLevelUP app. You will work closely with our content management and UI/UX design teams to create material that inspires, educates, and supports first-generation college students in navigating the complexities of college preparation and success.
Digital Content Creator Key Responsibilities
- Create accessible, accurate, audience-appropriate digital content from approved briefs and source material.
- Adapt concepts into channel-specific copy, graphics, short-form video, or other approved formats.
- Follow brand, attribution, licensing, privacy, and inclusive-language requirements throughout production.
- Maintain organized source files, version history, captions, alt text, and review-ready deliverables.
- Collaborate with content, design, program, and accessibility reviewers and incorporate documented feedback.
- Verify facts, links, permissions, and final specifications before routing content for approval.
Digital Content Creator Qualifications
- Experience creating digital content for web, social, educational, nonprofit, or comparable audiences.
- Portfolio or work samples demonstrating clear storytelling and attention to audience needs.
- Working knowledge of common content-creation and collaborative review tools.
- Ability to write concise copy and apply accessibility practices such as captions and meaningful alt text.
- Strong organization, revision management, receptive collaboration, and deadline communication skills.
