Data Analyst Volunteer Role Overview

Role Overview Believe In Me is seeking a Volunteer Data Analyst specializing in visualizing data in Google Data Studio. The Volunteer Data Analyst will be responsible for implementing the digital tagging and analytics measurement strategy and supporting data collection on all digital platform implementations.

Data Analyst Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
• Centralize and standardize digital tracking, analytics, and associated data quality by working with stakeholders to determine appropriate metrics and behavior to track on new and existing properties.
• Administer analytics accounts, properties, dashboards, and reports in Google Data Studio.
• Diagnose issues with existing platform configurations and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support stakeholders to create custom reports for their business needs.
• Identify areas of inefficiency and develop methods for improvement.

Data Analyst Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or degree candidate in Marketing Technology, Analytics, Math, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or related discipline
• Experience working with Google Analytics and familiarity with GA360 suite (Data Studio, Big Query)
• Competencies
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Highly skilled in working with the entire G-Suite, Salesforce, Campaign Monitor, Supermetrics, SQL, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Big Query, and Google Data Studio.
• Familiarity with web apis, queries, dimensions, and cross schema reporting
• Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration and able to work independently.
• A critical thinker with aptitude to isolate and fix technical issues
• Passionate about the accuracy of data and its value to inform business decisions.
• Desired/Additional Skills
• Experience working in nonprofit work a plus
• Understanding HTML/HTML5/CSS/Javascript
