Join us in our mission to make a lasting difference in the lives of these children and young adults. iLevelUP, an innovative initiative under Believe in Me, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Volunteer Salesforce Administrator to manage and optimize our Salesforce system. This role involves supporting our fundraising and marketing teams by building, customizing, and maintaining Salesforce as a comprehensive platform for managing grants, donor relationships, and fundraising campaigns. You will be instrumental in ensuring that Salesforce enables us to effectively care for our network of relationships that support our mission to empower first-generation college students.

Salesforce Administrator Key Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Platform Management: Build and maintain Salesforce as a fully functioning grants management and donor engagement platform, including campaign tracking, grant reporting, and revenue management.
  • Customization & Integration: Customize Salesforce to support confidential relationship management with high-net-worth individuals and brand ambassadors, and integrate Salesforce with other systems for telephony, events, and data collection.
  • Campaign & Donor Management: Collaborate with the Marketing & Fundraising teams to segment contacts, create automated email campaigns, and develop strategies for donor engagement.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain reports to provide data-driven insights into fundraising performance, donation trends, and key fundraising metrics.
  • System Administration: Perform Salesforce administrator functions including system maintenance, backups, security management (roles, profiles, and workflows), and group settings.
  • User Support & Training: Address user questions, collect feedback, and implement enhancements based on user input and organizational goals. Provide training and documentation for best practices.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and troubleshoot Salesforce problems, perform quality assurance testing, and implement fixes to optimize system performance.
  • Documentation & Updates: Provide detailed documentation on platform updates, including workflow processes, user audit trails, and reporting improvements

Salesforce Administrator Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator with hands-on configuration and customization expertise (e.g., workflows, process builder, flow).
  • Experience with Salesforce NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack), Grants Management, and campaign management.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification or Salesforce Application Builder Certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Admin, Dev 1) are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Apex, Lightning components, Visualforce, or a willingness to learn and understand these technologies is preferred.
