About iLevelUP
iLevelUP is a free, AI-powered, game-based learning experience being developed by Believe in Me to help young people explore education and career possibilities and build self-confidence. The product is in limited beta. The learner is the main character, and iLevelUP is the guide.
Student success lead role overview
The official role is School / TRIO / GEAR UP Implementation & Student Success Lead. iLevelUP seeks a remote volunteer student success lead to prepare approved school, TRIO, and GEAR UP pilots.
You will connect educator needs with a workable implementation plan: what learners will do, what adults need to know, how access and support will work, and what evidence will help the team improve. iLevelUP is in limited beta; this role should represent current capabilities accurately.
What you will own
You own implementation readiness, educator onboarding, training, support coordination, and partner follow-through for approved engagements. Partnership contributors establish relationships; leadership authorizes commitments; technical, privacy, learning, and evaluation owners resolve their respective requirements.
Student success lead responsibilities
- Learn the workflows and constraints of schools, TRIO, GEAR UP, counselors, and aligned student-serving programs through approved discovery conversations.
- Build an implementation playbook covering goals, responsibilities, timelines, access, accessibility, privacy, consent, adult support, and escalation.
- Create clear pilot plans and readiness checklists with confirmed partners, including success criteria, learner activities, training, support capacity, and feedback methods.
- Develop educator guides, orientation materials, demonstrations, facilitator resources, and troubleshooting information matched to actual product behavior.
- Coordinate access and rostering needs with engineering and the integration specialist; route student-data and consent questions to the privacy owner.
- Maintain a manageable support process with issue severity, owners, response expectations, status updates, and useful knowledge-base content.
- Gather educator and learner feedback through approved methods; distinguish adoption barriers, usability problems, learning needs, and technical failures.
- Track launch readiness, participation quality, recurring issues, and next actions in the designated CRM or project tools. Prepare continuation or expansion recommendations based on evidence and organizational capacity.
Early deliverables
- First 30 days: complete a stakeholder-needs brief and a reusable implementation-readiness checklist.
- By 60 days: deliver an educator onboarding and support package and an approved pilot-plan template.
- By 90 days: run a tabletop rehearsal or an authorized pilot, document findings, and recommend the next implementation improvements. Actual launches depend on confirmed partners and product readiness.
Student success lead required qualifications
- Experience with educational program implementation, school operations, TRIO or GEAR UP, student services, EdTech onboarding, or customer success in a related setting.
- Ability to turn discovery conversations into clear plans, responsibilities, training, and follow-up.
- Strong facilitation, writing, organization, and respectful communication with educators and student advocates.
- Experience maintaining a CRM, project tracker, support queue, or comparable records that others can use.
- Sound judgment about product claims, student privacy, sensitive concerns, and when to escalate or seek approval.
Student success lead helpful experience
- Experience supporting first-generation students, school pilots, educator professional learning, or college-access programs.
- Familiarity with district approval processes, accessible learning materials, SIS/LMS systems, or program evaluation.
How we work
Work with partner-facing contributors, product, learning, engineering, privacy, integration, and evaluation specialists. Schedule educator meetings during mutually agreed hours and document every material commitment.
