Fundraising Lead Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and mission.
- Identify and pursue grant opportunities, including researching, proposal writing, and submission management.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic organizations.
- Coordinate and oversee fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring they are executed effectively and meet fundraising targets.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Outreach team to promote fundraising initiatives and engage the community.
- Manage a team of volunteers involved in fundraising activities, providing guidance, support, and direction.
- Monitor and report on the progress of fundraising efforts, analyzing outcomes and adapting strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and ethical standards related to fundraising and donor relations.
Fundraising Lead Qualifications
- Passion for the mission of Believe in Me and commitment to making a difference.
- Previous experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor management, preferably within a nonprofit context.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire volunteers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
- Organized and strategic thinker, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with fundraising platforms, CRM software, and data management tools is a plus.
