Role Summary: iLevelUP, an innovative initiative under Believe in Me, is seeking a meticulous Volunteer Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage day-to-day financial records, track expenses, and ensure accurate financial reporting. As part of the Finance Team, you will be responsible for maintaining financial health, overseeing budget management, and contributing to the organization’s mission of empowering first-generation college students.

Bookkeeper/Accountant Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records, including tracking transactions, income, and expenses.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize expenses, ensuring alignment with budget and organizational goals.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide clear insights into financial health.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and nonprofit accounting standards.
• Budget Support: Assist in preparing and managing the annual budget, providing data-driven recommendations.

Bookkeeper/Accountant Qualifications
