Coordinator Key Responsibilities

• Volunteer Recruitment & Training: Recruit, onboard, and train new volunteers, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Volunteer Database Management: Maintain an up-to-date database of volunteer information, including availability, skills, and project assignments.
• Volunteer Matching: Match volunteers to appropriate opportunities that align with their skills and interests, providing clear instructions and necessary training.
• Communication & Engagement: Keep volunteers informed about iLevelUP’s mission, events, and volunteer opportunities through regular updates and outreach.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Organize and maintain schedules for volunteer activities, ensuring smooth coordination and effective participation in iLevelUP projects.
• Support & Supervision: Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers, addressing any issues or concerns that arise during their participation.
• Policies & Procedures: Develop and uphold codes of conduct and operational procedures to ensure all volunteers align with iLevelUP’s values and objectives.

Coordinator Qualifications

• Proven experience in volunteer coordination, recruitment, or similar roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate volunteers.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and record-keeping.
• Ability to manage databases and track volunteer participation.
• Passion for education and a commitment to supporting first-generation college students.
