Role Overview As a Volunteer Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data systems for the iLevelUP app, a technology-driven platform aimed at supporting first-generation college students. You will work closely with our development and analytics teams to ensure our data architecture is robust, efficient, and capable of providing insightful information to drive our mission forward.

Data Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
  • Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices for data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
  • Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
  • Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.

Data Engineer Qualifications
